The head of the Japan Karate Association England (JKAE)
is Sensei Ohta, 6th Dan, based in London. Sensei Ohta supervises
gradings where students progress through the different grades (shown by
different coloured belts) up to Dan grades (black belt). It takes about
three years to achieve a Dan (black belt) grade.
Club members frequently travel to training
courses offered by Ohta Sensei and other senior JKAE instructors
at different venues in Britain. In addition we attend the annual
International Training Course organised by JKAE at the Sports
Centre in Guildford, Surrey |
